Paldor Peak 5,896m is located in the range of Ganesh Himal just northwest of Katmandu. The Paldor peak was climbed first time by Bill Tilman (Pioneer British explorer in the Himalayas) in 1949. North East, South East, West and South West Ridge are normal climbing routes to the summit. The high camp is set far from the summit and another high camp is set just before four hours climb to summit. A long day takes to climb the summit. The views are great of Mt. Machhapuchhre in the Annapurna range, all the way to the peaks of the Khumbu region along with the Mt. Shisapangma and the brown hills of Tibet. Descent is made on the same route and takes about 12 days of entire climbing.
Introduction and trip briefing
On our all tours, trek, expeditions and other adventures, we give a short brief about the trip in Kathmandu on the same day of your arrival and introduce your trip leader and team members. At the mean time, we provide an opportunity for individuals to ask questions if any about the trip.
A successful trek/climb requirement
As other adventure trip, Paldor peak trek/climb also requires
previous experience of trekking and ice/rock climb, sound health &
fitness, experience for using Ice axe and crampons,
ascending/descending. Of course there will be some Ice climbing course
at the base camp make you skillful of using ropes, ice pick, harness,
crampons and other essential gears. Paldor peak climb usually require
maximum 10hrs of walking and average 4-8 hrs in a day; You should be
prepared 7-10 Km of walking or jugging exercise everyday at least 2
months before your trip starts. With lot of willpower, strong
determination, reasonable fitness in health and hiking experience make
surer of your successful trip. However medical and evacuation expenses
are your responsibility so we suggest you to consult your doctor for
medical requirements. To ensure for a safety and successful trek; we
will provide one trek leader, one assistance leader on every group trek
so that if in case one get sick, it would not be canceled the trek and
run as plan as in itinerary
Meals during Paldor peak climbing
Hygienic and freshly cook meals on full board basis will be provided both on trekking and climbing sections. We provide high level of balance diet, hygiene and safety meals three times in a day. Dishes we prepare are normally Nepali, Tibetan/Sherpa, Indian, Continental and Italian.

must be fully insured, including air rescue services and all medical
expenses. You decide and choose what amount and types of is insurance is
suitable for your trip nature as some does buy cancellation and only
for certain period of time.

Good care of porters
Believing that the porters are important and impossible to complete the trip. We do not allow porters to carry exceeding 20 kgs in tea-house and 30kgs weight in camping trek. It is because of human being respect, their rights and against any exploitation on it's operation. We provide good health insurance, good equipments, working training and of course good pay with lots of encouragements. We are working with porters progress of Nepal and other organizations concerning about the porters.

Day 01:Arrive in Kathmandu airport.
You'll be met at the airport by our representative and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:Half day guided sightseeing tour.
Afternoon, meet the guide / trip briefing and final preparation of the trek.
Day 03:Kathmandu - Syabrubensi 1740m 9hr drive.
Drive to through a narrow road to tirsuli and up hill drive to Kalikasthan and further Dhunche an attractive village with large stone houses the further down to Syabrubensi
Day 04:Syabrubensi - Samdung
Trek to Samdang village through typical local villages and beautifl landscape.
Day 05:Samdung – Ghetlang
Trek through local settlement enjoying the scenery and mountain views.
Day 06: Ghetlang – Jastakhani
Trek up hills through the alpine and rhododendron forest and reach to base camp of Paldor peak.
Day 07: Jastakhani – Paldor peak BC
Trek through a wild and dry section but great mountain views to the north-east then reach to base camp and set the tents
Day 08:Base Camp – High Camp
Climb to high camp passing a difficult rocky section and reach to the high camp.
Day 09: High Camp – Summit – BC
Climb with excitement of summit attempt though have to cross some hard glacier section before the summit. Finally get to the top of peak and enjoy the success then descent to base camp
Day 10: BC – Jastakhani
Trek back to Jastakhani via same route.
Day 11: Jastakhani – Ghetlang
Trek through the same trail and reach to Ghetlang village.
Day 12:Ghetlang – Samdung
Again trek via same route and reach to Samdung village.
Day 13: Samdung – Syabrubensi
The trail descends with views of River down and village of Syabrubensi and enjoy the hot shower.
Day 14: Syabrubensi - Kathmandu
Drive to Tirshuli then to Kakani with views of Gheng, Langtang Lirung, and Ganesh Himal. From Kakani it is about 3 hrs drive to get to the Kathmandu.
A full day sightseeing tour in the Kathmandu Valley. Evening Join the farewell dinner with live Nepali cultural program hosted by the company.
Day 16: Departure
If you have time and are interested for other adventure like white water rating, wild life safari or any other activities can extend your holiday or transfer to airport and fly back to sweet home.
